On behalf of the entire California Capital Chapter, I would like to welcome you to sacnkba.org! The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) is the leading trade association for the Kitchen & Bath industry and is a member focused, non-profit organization promoting the industry’s professionalism and providing tools, research, certification, and events to thousands of professionals.
NKBA’s California Capital Chapter is a great and supportive organization, whose mission is to enhance member success, promote professional excellence and provide leadership for the Kitchen & Bath Industry.
2018 was an amazing year! Looking back at our outstanding events; numerous networking and educational programs, the Annual Golf Tournament co-hosted with NARI of Sacramento, the inaugural ‘Chopped Challenge’, an amazing social event and cook-off, our Annual Design Competition and Holiday Awards Dinner and our own Sacramento Regional Design & Build Event, showcasing David Garibaldi. A huge success, this Event raised money for Habitat for Humanity’s ‘Avenues Project’, a 5-home development benefitting 5 families and 14 children.
We have been very busy planning our new and exciting 2019 Chapter Events and promise they will be even more informative, more fun and more valuable to you as industry professionals. Check our website often for the new 2019 programs!
With volunteer members at the heart of our organization, you can make a difference!! I would like to encourage all of you to take advantage of what NKBA has to offer and join our membership. We have various volunteer opportunities at the Chapter level including Council Officers, Committee Heads, Task Force Chairs and Volunteers, Speakers and Event Sponsors and Hosts. Please get involved at whatever level feels comfortable. If you find an area in which you would like to contribute, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
It is again with great pride that I serve the Council and Membership as President. A huge thank you to all who have given your time and talents to NKBA through hard work and support, especially my fellow Council Members, Industry Professionals and Chapter Members, both emerging and seasoned. Your efforts are clearly evident in everything our Chapter does and none of these activities would be possible without all of you.
